How the daily chess challenge works
You start with 3 lives and a timer that begins on your first move. Make the right move and the opponent's reply plays automatically; get it wrong and you lose a life but can try the same puzzle again — the solution is never revealed while your run is live.
Puzzles get harder as the run goes on, drawn from a large curated pool of positions from the Lichess open puzzle database, so the exact sequence changes every day.
One shared daily chess puzzle for everyone
Everyone who plays on a given day gets the same ordered set of puzzles, so your result is directly comparable to a friend's. A completed run can't be replayed for a new score on the same device — but Practice mode is always open afterwards, with no effect on your daily result.
